Responsible Gambling
Quarterdeck is an analytics product. Your wellbeing comes before any wager.
Quarterdeck provides sports analytics and information only. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept wagers, and we do not hold funds. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any outcome. Sports betting involves real risk of financial loss.
Signs of a problem
- Betting more than you can comfortably afford to lose
- Chasing losses with larger or more frequent wagers
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund betting
- Lying to family or friends about time or money spent
- Feeling restless or irritable when trying to cut back
- Betting to escape stress, anxiety or low mood
- Gambling interfering with work, study or relationships
If any of these feel familiar, reach out to one of the resources above. Support is free and confidential.
Betting responsibly
- Set a budget before you start and treat it as entertainment spending, never income.
- Never bet money needed for essentials — rent, food, bills or debt.
- Set time limits as well as money limits.
- Never chase losses. A losing streak is not a reason to increase stake size.
- Do not bet while under the influence, or when upset or stressed.
- Take regular breaks. Use deposit limits and self-exclusion tools your operator provides.
Age & jurisdiction
You must meet the legal wagering age in your jurisdiction — typically 21 in most U.S. states, 18 in some. Sports wagering is not legal everywhere. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply to you. Quarterdeck's age acknowledgement is not identity verification.
